A blank map, an unavailable source or a failed alert check does not mean the weather is safe. Go to the official source, monitor another warning method and follow local officials’ instructions.
Radar shows where precipitation has been detected. A nearby observation describes conditions at its reporting station. Neither guarantees the conditions at your exact location.
