Help & privacy
Understand your account, alert areas, and notification settings.
Where will I receive community alerts?
In the Vital Deploy community app. The website lets you read your inbox and manage preferences. Email is used for account verification, recovery, and security, not community alert delivery.
Will I still hear about home when I travel?
Yes. Your selected home area remains active. Optional current-area matching adds nearby alerts; it does not replace your home subscription.
What if location is off or out of date?
Home-area alerts continue. The app clearly says when it cannot use a sufficiently recent location for current-area matching. It never implies complete location coverage.
Can I reply or report an emergency here?
No. This is a receive-only inbox. Call 911 for an emergency.
How do I stop notifications?
Change alert preferences or disable notifications in the app or device settings. You can stop current-area location sharing separately.
Can I export or delete my community information?
Open Community Settings to download your Community information or request a deletion review. A deletion request is tracked by the privacy support team; it does not delete your shared Vital Deploy account, agency membership, or workforce records.
What if I cannot sign in?
Use the main account recovery flow. Community sign-in shares the same account, recovery controls, and security policy.
What happens to my public weather home when I sign in?
It stays saved in this browser. It is not copied into your account automatically. In Settings, you can compare the browser and account choices and decide whether to replace your account weather home.
